Classes are flavoured by world rhythms collected over 25 years from across the globe. Each Session focuses on how we play together as much as what we play and everyone is invited to play at their own level - In practice this looks like the teaching of simple foundations - playing techniques, rhythmical ideas, group games or exercises that build towards deep and satisfying musical experiences for everyone. The resulting grooves and energy can be said to emerge from our groups rather than being imposed upon them. We find this makes a profound difference to people’s experiences whilst placing a shared responsibility and ownership on what we create together.
